eMedicine - PDA versions of a variety of eMedicine text. Download any of the thousands of peer-reviewed, disease specific articles covering 65 specialties.

Micormedex - Thompson Clinical Expert (formerly mobileMicormedex) provides users with a wealth of clinical knowledge from the Micormedex database.  This resource contains: drug info, a drug interaction tool, toxicology info, acute care, and alternative medicine.

Johns Hopkins University Antibiotic Guide -  free updateable guide of bugs and drugs. (free)

MedCalc  - A resource with multiple calculators including those for Child-Pugh score, MELD score, etc. (free)
 
MedMath - MedMath is a medical calculator for rapid calculation of common formulas in adult internal medicine. Features more than 20 formulas sorted by category, with selectable units and onscreen numeric keypad. Runs on all Palm platforms without external libraries.

- Medical prediction rules, including PORT score and APACHE II scoring systems. (free)
 
MentStat Mini Mental Staus Exam: Freeware application for administering and scoring the standard MMSE on a single screen of your PDA, making this very quick to use. Includes instructions

National Guideline Clearinghouse - guidelines for your Palm
 
Shots 2009 - Shots 2009 is a quick reference guide to the 2009 Childhood and Adolescent Immunization Schedules, a collaboration of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), and the 2009 Adult Immunization Schedule, recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Details on each vaccine are available by clicking on the vaccine names. 
 
Stat Cardiac Clearance - STAT Cardiac Clearance is a free application that guides clinicians through the complex algorithms established by the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association Task Force on Practice Guidelines and the American College of Physicians for evaluating patients prior to noncardiac surgery.  This resource is based on Guidelines for Perioperative Cardiovascular Evaluation for Noncardiac Surgery,
 
Stat Growth - This program calculates growth percentiles based on the June 2000 revision of the CDC Growth Charts for the United States. It includes new body mass index-for-age charts.  Enter the age in years and months using the pop-up lists. The weight, height, and head circumference can be entered in using graffiti. Be sure to select the correct metric or English units. Select the correct sex and indicate whether height is standing if applicable. If head circumference is included, HC-Age percentile is presented. If no head circumference is input (non-infants), BMI-Age percentile is included if applicable. Press the Calc button to perform the calculations.
