We can obtain journal articles, and books from other biomedical libraries. Requests for such materials can be easily communicated either by email, phone, or in person. For more information about this service please contact us at 203.384.3615

Please keep remember the following when requesting materials.
 
Journal articles:
  • Journal articles are usually provided in photocopy or electronic format. If we receive your document electronically, and have your email address, we can send it to you as soon as it arrives.
  • Because of copyright law, entire journal issues cannot be obtained.
  • Most journal article requests are filled within seven days.
Information needed to fulfill a journal article request:
Author; journal title, volume, page and date, and the PMID or Unique Identifier number from a Medline Search.
Books:
  • Textbooks can be borrowed from other libraries and are subject to the lending terms of the lending institution. Patrons are responsible for fees charged for late returns or lost books.
Information needed to fulfill a book request:
Author or editor, title, publisher, year, place of publication; author, title and pages of chapter (if requested)
