Education is the foundation to effective, therapeutic, client centered interaction and intervention. Safety and satisfying patient needs are the guiding principles for Bridgeport Hospital staff. The Hospital is dedicated to providing opportunities for hospital-wide personnel and affiliates to expand their knowledge and skill base while enhancing their roles, practice and professional development. This Continuing Education (CE)site is one method designed to support the staff of Bridgeport Hospital in their efforts for improving patient outcomes.

This site provides access to on-line continuing education courses for nursing and allied health.  In addition, this site also provides the documents necessary to have a nursing continuing education activity approved as a contact hour program.  Bridgeport Hospital is an Approved Provider of Continuing Nursing Education by the Connecticut Nurses' Association, an Accredited Approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation
